and regulatory experience since 1991

Doris A. Minor, the sole proprietor of Attenuation Environmental Company (AEC) and its Managing Principal, has well over twenty years of engineering and regulatory training and expertise in toxic, dangerous, hazardous, radioactive, and mixed waste management as well as environmental characterization; site assessment, investigation, and closure; and facility decommissioning.
She has proven credentials when it comes to all major federal environmental and radioactive materials statutes, regulations, and policies, including the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA, as amended), the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA, as amended), the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), and the Atomic Energy Act. She also is well versed in environmental laws, regulations, and policies of the States of Washington, Oregon, and Illinois, where she has worked either as a regulator herself or as an advocate for clients.
Her projects have trained her to critically examine existing waste management and environmental strategies and to explore emerging and innovative technologies. She always seeks thorough, effective, and well- received technical and regulatory solutions to waste management and other environmental issues, in a cost-effective manner.
Finally, because of her background in technical communication, she is able to clearly and precisely communicate these solutions to her clients, to regulatory agency representatives, and to the public.
